Organisations and Training

Recreational Aviation Australia (RA-Aus) Recreational Aviation Australia Inc — a recreational aviation administration organisation — is a non-profit association that self-regulates Recreational aircraft, pilots and instructors. Their web site is a great source of instructional material and other resources for recreational aircraft builders and operators.
Gostner Aviation Gostner Aviation, run by David Maddock, is a rare combination of PPL and Recreational training. You can do each type of training alone, or convert from one type to the other. They have a number of GA and RA Jabirus plus other GA aircraft such as a Partenavia twin. Great hospitality and a great deal of patience leads to a sound learning experience.
